The Position Offers
We are looking for an officer who wants to work on a wide range of tasks to maintain and develop the military unit military region group (MR group) BLG and the two home guard battalions in Blekinge. We offer a broad position with proximity to decision-making and the opportunity to influence and contribute. We are a small and flexible unit with complex tasks where everyone is needed. We have a mix of ages with both civilian and military positions. Join us and develop with us.
About the Unit
The Blekinge Group (BLG) in Karlskrona is tasked with training, administering, and leading the two home guard battalions in Blekinge County under the Chief MR S, which includes a boat company. The MR group is also responsible for supporting local activities conducted by voluntary defense organizations.
Main Tasks
You should be able to plan, execute, and evaluate various types of exercises and courses at the MR group, either individually or with support from other colleagues.
You should be able to conduct exercises with live and blank ammunition at least up to the size of a group in the role of exercise leader.
You should be prepared to support other sections within the MR group.
The position includes weekend and evening duties during certain periods, as well as service throughout the Southern Military Region.
Qualifications
- Completed officer exam with at least level OF 1 or OR 6
- Good IT skills
- Driving license B
Meritorious
- Served as deputy or platoon leader or equivalent
- Exercise leader, KSP m/58, Grg m/48, p-skott m/86, AK 4B/C, Pist m/88
- Driver's license for ptgb, tgb11-20, Bv 206, and Lb
- Vehicle instructor
- Training in Combat Boat/G-boat.
- Served at company and/or battalion staff
- Dog instructor
- Knowledge of the Home Guard and voluntary organizations
Personal Qualities
You have a good ability to work in a team and are outgoing, with ease in collaborating with others. You have a high work capacity, are stress-resistant, and have good communication skills in both speech and writing. You can manage multiple projects simultaneously. You should take responsibility and have initiative, being able to translate theory into practice. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
